No one burning the midnight oil? I get to be first at 7:30?

Getting very dark out, like it is going to rain and ruin everyones holiday cookout.

I lived a day longer yesterday... tried something new and liked it! :)

I have lost track of what day I'm on... 9 opens in a row and I"m all messed up :( our house is upside down, as we're re-doing our room, living room and hallway, and everything is everywhere it never used to be, I don't know which way is up... a little preoccupied I guess you could say and lost in all the mess and disorganization :(

but never fear, our cookout is almost here!! THIS SATURDAY, noon, watch your inboxes for details, it will be in Racine County, destination to be emailed out to you guys, if you don't get one by Wednesday, please let me know and I will re-send it, also will follow up with a blog as a reminder later today, I can still find imy computer, for now...

I've only been back to school for a week and I could surely have used a vacation day already.. I spent the day ripping my hair out trying to find the information I needed.. phew.. don't know how I'll make it through.. Happy labor day.. enjoy your day!!

When I started teaching in Florida, the school year started the Wednesday before Labor Day. Your first week was a three day week. Labor Day meant your second week was a four day week. It was the third week of school before you dealt with a five day week. That was a very nice way to ease your way into the school year.

Winter is not even here and I’m already not liking it. The sun is suppose to shine until 9pm; what is it now, 7pm and it’s dark...grrrrrr.

BUT, I cannot complain about the nice cool evenings and very low humidity.

If it was up to me and not Mother Nature, this month and next would be nice, 75 to 80 during the day 60 at night. Then the trees can change color in all their beauty and come mid November a few inches of snow. I like snow for Thanksgiving. Then warm up for a few weeks and have another couple inches of snow for Christmas; Santa does need it for his sleigh. Then back to spring with April showers and right into summer.

I missed it...no, not really...just wasn't on my pc yesterday...hope it was a good one for you. We had a hot day, went to the jetties @ Venice and watched the dolphins (the fish, not the football team) play....very relaxing day....
