Even though I am healing nicely, being laid up like that I still have this odd feeling that about of month of the year is just missing. It's not even like I was in a coma, just not able to live a normal life for a while and a few weeks after I went back to work, still feels odd.

I am going to take a long weekend at Disneyland this weekend. I was going for the half-marathon the Sunday after my accident. I can't run the course since parts of it go through the parks, but I probably will get up and run most of it. Unfinished business.

I agree with SER - who strapped the jet boosters on Father Time?

I guess that's about right, hale, because you did "lose" a month.

My apt. is cold because the wind just blows through the crappy old windows. I can light a match and the breeze by the windows will blow it out. The entire first floor of the building smells like gas because everyone has their ovens on to heat their apartments. Ahh, this is the life...
