One Day at Gurnee Mills

A Chicago family went shopping at Gurnee Mills. The son asks to go into the Sports Authority. As he is there he is pondering a life change. The spirit of St. Lombadi enters the boy. He grabs a Aaron Rodgers jersey and walks up to his mom.

"Mom?" "Yes Son?" "I'd like to become a Packers fan and would like this Jersey. His mom whacks him in the head and says "Go see your Father!"

The kid walks up to his Dad, Packer Jersey in hand.

"Dad?" "Yes Son?" "Dad, I am now a Green Bay Packers fan and would like this #12 Jersey." The Dad whacks him on the head, takes the jersey away and states "No son of mine will ever ever wear this! Go go get in the car!"

On the way home, the Dad turns to his Son and asks him "So I hope you have learned something today Son"

"I sure have Dad! I've only been a Packer fan for one hour and I already hate you FIB's!

Thats funny. There is a story out on ABC.com about a sea lion in Chicago that is predicting the Bears will win.
Of course, there is no sound and we don't know what the trainer is saying to the sea lion.

We need that goat curse to apply to football...

Yeah, that's funny. (I had to look up FIB: f*cking Illinois bastard).

Maybe the Racine Zoo has something that can predict a Packers win? Do we have an elephant yet? "Packy pachyderm predicts Packers will stomp da Bears."

They have the Payton curse. Ditka screwed Walter Payton in 1985 by not having him get a touchdown but giving one to the fridge. The Bears have not won a Superbowl since. The Payton Curse!

No the zoo doesn't have an elephant, probably never will because they are pack animals and really need space to have several. So ours went somewhere where it could hang out with friends.. (sorry I know it was not the point of the blog)

WOW Why not! Years and years ago. So long I was just a wee lad, my dad took a picture of me sitting on top of the "donation elephant" at the Zoo. The donation elephant had a coin slot in it's side for people to put change and bills in order to fund out own elephant. Never knew we got one, then got rid of it.

I need a little voodoo doll of Cutler so I can stick needles in his knees when he is running...

I remember that donation elephant at the zoo. I wonder how many pennies and nickels and dimes I stuck in that thing? Since we don't have an elephant, I'd like a refund, with interest, please.
