Racine Makes Reuters' Online 'Oddly Enough' News

Not very good press for the Belle City of the Lakes: "Thanksgiving spat over chair ends in knife attack," http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/11/30/us-thanksgiving-attack-odd-idUSTRE7AT1LC20111130
Irregulars, omg, note the reporter at the bottom of the above story.

The JournalTimes.com coverage of the incident: http://www.journaltimes.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/man-accused-of-trying-to-kill-woman-who-wouldn-t/article_2329cc18-1a18-11e1-945e-001cc4c03286.html

The man, the myth, the tool, Brendan O'Brien.
Doesn't it just give you the warm fuzzies?

Can you imagine. Hey dude, what are you in for. Well man, my girlfriend wouldn't let me sit in my chair. Yeah, he'll do well in prison.

BO'B was the online editor who chased us off of the Journal Times site, jedwis. We tried to reason with him and asked for a meeting to discuss the Journal Times' censorship (which continues today). The bloggers even conducted a one week "strike" against the online paper, refusing to post or comment. It didn't work. They don't care about the people of Racine, just $. So we started our own site. I was gong to say, "and we haven't looked back," but, in truth, we've looked back many times, to laugh, cry, or just shake our heads. Journal Times knows nothing about Racine. Their reporters don't know anything about us, not even street names, no history, no context, like some sort of permanent alien AP wire story writers, working at a 6th grade level. And when the editors don't get their way, they throw hissy fits. The perfect hacks for lying John and his crew of cronies.

It's December, the month when lying John must give a deposition in the slander lawsuit against him. I wonder how many lies he will swear to? I love this time of year . . .

wow, I knew we were odd but to take this long to make news? Usually Beejay's state has all the good stuff going on...

^ It's true! I often come across online stories about nuttiness in Florida. I don't post most of them because I don't want Beejay to think that I'm picking on her. For some reason, a lot of wackos make the news in Florida.

Not that we have much to brag about. Wisconsin is noted for ghoulish murderers.
