Useless Information

UPATED PICTURE TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF HOW BIG THEY REALLY ARE...

Did you know:

Rhinoceros beetles are the world's strongest animals!" They can lift 850 times their own weight.

If I could do that, I could lift over 87 tons, and probably look like that critter. Some of those muscle men bear* a resemblance to that beetle, too.

(*I originally typed "bare".)

Some fleas can jump 150 times their own length. That compares to a human jumping 1,000 feet.

How would you like to find that ugly little monster crawling around your house? You probably couldn't squish that with a kleenex.

I'd use a .45 cal

A 2 oz specimen of one of these could lift a 106 lb person.

Maybe two .45 cal

I always thought ants were the strongest, it seems that way when you see them dragging things back to the nest. You would probably have to squish this monster with a depends. lol

I'd need to be wearing the Depends if I had to deal with that!

I checked Wikipedia. (they always have correct info) :) They said that in Asia, these beetles are kept as pets and they fight them. They are supposed to be clean and do not bite or sting humans. Egad.

Pets? Aw, now I want one, with a little collar and leash to take it for walks. I wonder what Charlie, my cat, would think of the new guy?
