Lets Never Forget

We all have many and different thoughts of this horrific event. One thing I hope we all remember is not to become to complacent as we were during this time.

It is amazing isn't it that we can all remember exactly where we were when these events unfolded. I for one will never forget that day.

Yes I remember that day really good. I also remember calling my mom to see if she heard what happened. She didn't know that it happened then she put the t.v. on to watch.

I initally thought It was a small plane, and just an unfortunate accident, without many casualties, when I got back to my office, and looked on Yahoo, I was In total shock. Real shock, trembling, and not knowing what to do. I left the building, and went to the local church, and met a maintenance man going about his daily work. He was painting the railing green. (The church Is St. Patrick's) anyhow I walked the huge flight of stairs, commenting on the incident to him, with really no response, and entered the church, to my surprise, nobody else was there. I prayed for the victims, and left. I was still shaking, so I figured I needed a liquid tranquilizer, and went to the local tavern for a couple quick shots of Vodka. I kind of calmed down, but the rest of the day at work was worthless, as was the rest of the evening. That was TUESDAY 11 years ago. NO I will never forget.

I remember one thing happening after another and not knowing how much more would happen. I remember trying to calm students who were naturally very upset... all the while inside, my natural reaction was to flee and go and get my own children from school to keep them close.

We had a moment of silence today in memory. Most of the students here were too young to remember.

I was at work and heard it on the radio. I left work, went home, turned on the TV just as the second jet hit.

The third one headed for the Pentagon, the military sent jets after it, BUT they sent them in the wrong direction, they sent them over the ocean AND they did not have any munitions aboard, all they could do was a mid air crash but they were to late.

Since then, the jets patrolling the skies over the US are armed to the max!
