"Gay" is a Profanity

The Journal Times won't allow the word "gay" in their online comments.  It's considered a profanity.

Sometimes living in Racine is like living a hundred years ago.  "Gay" is the word that homosexuals prefer.  There is nothing profane about it.  Of course, the Journal Times just keeps censoring the truth and publishing lies.

Party on, propaganda mongers!

What about the word ‘queer’? When I was a young whipper snapper we use the saying, “that’s queer” a lot, to us it just meant it was stupid.

Someone would say or do something stupid and the comment ‘that’s queer’ or ‘that was queer’ came out all the time.

No one put a sexual connotation to it…

I saw a comment today on the Journal Times online where a woman wanted to mention a Van Dyke beard. She had to spell it Dyk-e to get past the word filter.

I wonder if you can say poop?
