I need a new washing machine

My washer is making horrible noises. So, now, do I need to spend a thousand dollars on one of those front loaders ? Suggestions my friends and, yes, I'm replacing the dryer too. Grrrrr. I heard the front loaders are more efficient, are they?

Go to a GOOD dealer that sells the German, and Swiss models. I just can't think of the name. Tell them they heat the water, so no hot water has to be connected, and they spin the clothes so dry, you nearly have very little drying time. They also stack, and hold so much laundry you won't believe It. They work so well, that you probably won't have to use laundry soap for weeks. You only add like a Tablespoon of (HE) Detergent. Your clothes are already loaded with soap that never comes out. The most amazing machine I have ever seen. Not cheap, but well worth the price. I just remembered the name of them ASKO.

Well Beejay, it is just you and sometimes the big guy so buying a machine that's really made for families seems a little much

And that my friend, is the reply I got when I wanted one.

Mary, but I still have sheets, comforters, etc. , so I don't really want a smaller machine. I also have a pool and kids that come down...read a zillion towels. Bosch, Toad? Not spending that kind of money unless it folds the laundry too!

Beejay, ASKO. They demonstrate It with like 15 towels sewn together. It looks really small, but huge inside. I going to look on the Net, and see how much they are now.

About $2,900.00 LIST for the pair. You can do a bunch better than that though. Nothing sells for LIST. Down there I don't know If you would even need a dryer, as dry as they come out of the washer?

Bought a set. LG. About 1700 with my discount. The sales person had an LG and loved it.
