"Nesting peregrine falcon in Oak Creek delivers a Mother's Day gift"

From JSOnline:

"Mother's Day arrived a week early for a peregrine falcon nesting at the Oak Creek Power Plant, and the family already has its own Internet reality show.

"A live camera focused on the nest Sunday morning revealed three white fuzzy chicks, clustered in a nest of pebbles beside one egg that has not hatched.

"The mother falcon started feeding the babies breakfast around 10:10 a.m. They appear to have healthy appetites.

"We Energies also offers a blog on the falcons along with the history of falcons making their nests at its power plants."

Cool! There is a nesting pair at the courthouse downtown as well. Be sure to keep your eyes on the skies!

I remember seeing a guy trying to get his Pet Peregrine back, after he took It out for whatever they do with them. It flew into the Vulcan Quarry, and I don't think he was able to get It back. He was twirling a hunk of meat on the end of a rope to try to entice It. I felt kinda bad for the guy.

Here is the live camera feed to the one at the Racine Courthouse. I've been told there is a fledgling and an egg right now. Check it out!
