"Mount Pleasant Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened
around 9 a.m. Sunday morning. Mount Pleasant Police responded after 911
calls came in for SF Petroleum in the 2300 block of Racine being robbed
at gunpoint. Radio reports that the suspect did display a handgun, after
the robbery, the suspect fled on foot. Racine Police are also in the
area at this time. No further information is available at this time.
