I have to admit it was a good weekend. I bought a pair of shoes in Vegas I don't know how many years ago. When needed I take them to the shoe repair shop. That being said, I know they won't last forever. On Saturday I went to SteinMart and guess what I saw? A pretty close copy of my shoes. Guess who got new shoes over the weekend?
Yeah for me.

And sigh, it's Monday. Another gorgeous week weather wise but still no rain. I'm not sure we've had any rain at all in October. Leaves are still green but looking a little poorly.

Half of our leaves are gone. But the weather has been nice.

Saw another accident on Washington Ave., in front of the Piggly Wiggly. People drive like crazy around here. 50 mph is not uncommon.

Today I went to the gas station because I was low. I gave the attendant $3. I was watching the accident scene. I got in my truck and drove off. It wasn't until 1/2 later that I realized I hadn't pumped the gas, just paid the attendant. I went back and they remembered me. Thank God.

My memory is starting to worry me...
