Will I reach Da Beach?

The Logistics:

Swimming around numerous rubble piles – leading to the landing site.

It was a daunting task – involving swimming around many rubble piles which were installed to control beach erosion, complying with Wisconsin Laws concerning private property rights, Sun, Sand, Surf, Rubble and Rocks – but I made it! And made it back – but were the Mason’s engaged in a potentially illegal mob gathering at their Lake Michigan beach front property? Hard to tell – but it certainly appeared to be so to me.  Out of respect – I did approach the property from the Lake – did not land on the Beach – although that is my right – and did not create close up pictures of the numerous guests.  I did make it to the direct front of the property and exchanged pleasantries with one of Da Beach party – goers. I conducted myself properly.

For reference – note the paved wave break in the foreground and then count the rock piles going back.

Fox News says it 'mistakenly' cropped Trump out of photo featuring Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell

New York (CNN)Fox News said on Monday that it "mistakenly" cropped President Trump out of a photograph that featured the accused sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.

"On Sunday, July 5, a report on Ghislaine Maxwell during Fox News Channel's 'America's News HQ' mistakenly eliminated President Donald Trump from a photo alongside then Melania Knauss, Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell," a spokesperson for the network said. 

The Fox News spokesperson added, "We regret the error."

Maxwell was charged by federal prosecutors in New York on Thursday for her alleged role in recruiting and sexually abusing underage girls as part of a years-long criminal enterprise. 

Trump's allies have played up ties between former Democratic President Bill Clinton and Epstein sometimes by sharing old photos in which both of them appear, while downplaying photos that show Trump and Epstein together. A Clinton spokesperson said in 2019 the former President knew "nothing about the terrible crimes" the convicted pedophile committed.

Fox News' egregious cropping of Trump from the photo drew criticism and prompted unflattering media coverage for the conservative cable network. The photograph aired during a segment about Maxwell being charged by federal prosecutors.

It's not the first time in recent weeks that Fox News has acknowledged a significant error related to photos accompanying news stories. In mid-June, Fox News expressed regret after it published digitally altered and misleading images of the "CHOP" demonstration in Seattle.

Michigan  has had the coldest winter in decades.

 

Water expands to freeze, and at Mackinaw City the water in Lake Huron below the surface ice was supercooled. It expanded to break through the surface ice and froze into this incredible wave.

 

This wave phenomenon occurs in Antarctica, but in Michigan? Yes, it's been quite a winter

Chocolate Train

train made entirely of chocolate has set a new Guinness World Record as the longest chocolate structure in the world .
The sculpture, on display at the busy Brussels South station, is 112-feet (34 . 05 meters) long and weighs over 2,755 pounds (1250 kilos) .
Maltese chocolate artist Andrew Farrugia spent over 700 hours constructing the masterpiece.
He said he came up with the idea of the train last year after visiting the Belgian Chocolate Festival in Bruge: "I had this idea for a while, and I said what do you think if we do this realization of a long chocolate train, you know, because a train you can make it as long as you like .
"Actually it was going to be much smaller than it was, but I kept on adding another wagon, and another wagon, and it's the size it is today. "
Farrugia had previously built a smaller train of 12 feet for an event in Malta, which he said gave him insight about how to build this much larger version.
There are two parts to the train . The first seven wagons are modeled after the new Belgian trains, and the rest of the train is modeled after the old train wagons, including a wagon with a bar and restaurant on board.
Three days before the event, Farrugia transported the chocolate train by truck in 25 wooden boxes from Malta to Belgium.
Farrugia said the train incurred considerable damage during the drive and several of the train's walls had completely collapsed. Luckily, with hard work and little sleep, the chocolate artist was able to fix all the damages before presenting the train to the public on Monday.
After measuring the length of the train and confirming no material other than chocolate was used, officials from the Guinness Book of World Records added a new category to the collection of world records and declared the train to be the longest chocolate structure in the world.
