School's Out!

Enjoy the summer RUSD students!

No more pencils, no more books,
no more being run down by school buses doing 45 mph on North Main Street.

Hooray!

Ah yes, another years worth of taxpayer money flushed down the toilet.

Think of it as an investment in job security for local LEOs.

Oh to be young again and have the summer off.

Schools out for summer, no more pencils, no more books, no more teachers' dirty looks.... is this the video you posted, orbs?

I'm close, but not there yet.... can I add my verse? No more 5:30 am alarm clock! Woo hoo! Of course, no more paychecks for awhile... :(

kk, it's Alice Cooper doing "School's Out!" I thought I'd taunt you for one last day by posting only videos that you can't see. The other one was of a crowd of people invading a store and doing MC Hammer's dance routine.

Now that I've gotten my selfish comment out of the way... I'd be remiss if I didn't add that there will be many more kiddies out on the street, little ones that can dart into traffic.

Also, due to the recession, there will be many bigger kiddies out on street corners and lurking other places, where in better times might have taken jobs to keep them occupied.

Unfortunately, money is tight for parents too and many of these kids will be unsupervised. With that, the potential for crime goes up.

Please everyone, lets stay safe and keep our kids safe!

Don’t they change the curfew time from 10pm to 3am now?

KK...It is, the police are calling it “smash & grab”, they are stealing things that are visible from the outside of the car and a quick grab.

Two areas of the city where this has been happening most frequently are in and around the Regency Mall parking lot, 5538 Durand Ave., and the parking lot at Infusino’s Banquet Hall, 3201 Rapids Drive.

There was nothing like blasting this song loud on the last day of school when I was younger and like it or not I'd play it for my son on the last day of every school year :)

They actually played this song over the P.A. in the halls after the last final. The kids loved it.
