not looking good, input please guys...

UPDATE - the picnic is CANCELLED, again. The weather refuses to cooperate with us. Perhaps a winter get-together would be more to Mother Nature's liking.

*******************************************

The following is my comment under our Friday open blog.
Tomorrow's weather doesn't sound very inviting, what do you guys think?

Mme. Z, you're SO grounded!!
here are the forecasts I have gotten -

all agree on 60ish, not horrible really but add to that ...

weatherbonk says 40% chance of rain

Accuweather says rain at 1 and mid afternoon, and is precise is saying that we will get .61 inches - how funny is that??? not just .6 but .61, hilarious!!

Channel 12 says rain and channel 6 says storms, I think this one is a wash (yes, pun intended)

I would open the offer to our house but we're under serious renovation projects and I don't have much house to move around in up OR downstairs, I think we should maybe plan on the Irregular Christmas party, if it's not storming then, we could still cook-out :)

What do you guys think? dig in our heels and hope to pull it off or surrender to Mother Natures revenge on Mme. Z?

I could go either way but at the same time feel like something out there has it in for us...
Mme. Z, I'm not telling you when the Irregular Christmas party is going to be, sorry hon, but I really don't want a blizzard that day...

Being a pessimist, I vote for puling the plug now. That way people can alter their plans sooner.

I froze the buns and the brats I got were pre-cooked. They're dated till November. I could freeze those, too, or, more likely, a neighbor and I will grill them.

In any case, I do NOT blame Madame Zoltar in any way, shape, or form. The last time I tangled with her, she threatened to shrink my, er, perspective. She has stated in the past that she does not get along with Mother Nature. Perhaps Mom N. is doing it just to pick on Mme. Z.

Btw, I DO blame the rain on John Dickert.

Should have just flown to Florida and Beejay here would have taken you in and we could have indoor or outdoor activities going...boo-hoo. I feel for you...Or you could have all gone to see Hale-Bopp...he is a bit warmer and less wet than you guys are.

We are promised a dry weekend, less humid, but still a bit warm...the pool will probably get some use.

Miss you all.

It was so beautiful when I got out of work. I was thinking how perfect of weather it would be for our picnic. I zoned out, fell asleep and now am burning the midnight oil. The weather website says it is raining, but, looking out the window, I can see the moon, clear as a bell. The pavement is dry.

One thing that IS predictable. They can't predict the weather. If it isn't raining at noon, I'm going.... but I'll save my food preparation until morning, just in case.

It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring.
I'm going back to bed.

Don't you remember the winter get together where it was -30 degrees?

I am SO angry with Mother Nature for doing this to my beloved Irregulars! I know that I've avoided confrontations with her in the past because of her considerable power, but this is the last straw. I'm coming for you, beyotch!

I have a theory - Mother Nature and Madame Zoltar are twins separated at birth and this could be sibling rivalry playing out LOL!

Madame... don't rile Mother Nature. I'm beginning to think there is a connection with those videos, Mme. Esmerlda, Monsieur Z. and this picnic/weather fiasco.

Didn't you mention that you recently had a court date concerning those 'en retard' child support payments?

Ms. Lizardmom, me and her twins? Oh dear!

Oh my, as I type this, it is thundering outside. Is that you threatening me, Mother Nature? Grrr!

You are probably right, Ms. kk. Why can't my ex pay his support and otherwise leave a working woman alone? To think that my Irregulars may be suffering because of some romantic entanglements and seedy plots makes my blood boil.

You should have come to my house...a balmy 86 or so right now, sun is shining....In fact, a darn nice day here...Maybe Mother Nature got her signals mixed and thought you were partying in Florida with me, which, I, of course, would love.

Don't let it make your blood boil, Madame, you are not alone. Men are simple machines: levels, pulleys and inclined planes. Why, oh, why do we continue to fall for them??? :)

OrbsCorbs said...

I'm more like a disinclined plane.

How about a winter get together in MN?

I should be done cleaning by then..
