Ohhhhhhhh Crawish ettoufe

Once you've tasted this delightful dish, nothing compares. I air freighted in 5# of tails and fat. Tonight my house smells like heaven. What exotic foods do you crave?

Exotic.... Neighbor stopped by and took a look, scooped a spoonful and went EEWWwwww. Tickled me pink. I'm safe and know I won't have to share. The gravy was so good I found myself using a spatula to get every last drop. Heck I licked the bowl. We think of crawdads as fish bait. Down south they are hunted/fished, bought from corner stores and crab boils. Like mini lobsters, but sweeter. One taste of this ambrosia, and you will be hooked like I am. Good thing folks go EWWWwww, without tasting.

low calorie, low salt, high flavor.

Huck, It's funny, but just Thursday I was at our only grocery store, and saw a big bowl of crawfish In the display case In the meat dept. I said to the person behind the counter, "Now I know where I saw all those crawfish someone I know wanted" I'm glad you found some.

I assume the local crayfish we use for bait are not suitable for human consumption? I know nothing about this. I mean, I know about using crayfish for bait - we used to catch our own from the Pike River near Carthage College and use them for fish bait - but I don't know about the eating of them.

What exotic foods do I crave? I don't think I eat anything exotic. I'm off the Cracker Jacks and Oreos binge now. What I crave lately is Top Dog's Chicago-style hot dog. They're expensive, but oh so good.

Orb's, I think the crawfish out of the river are fine for eating. I think you have to use just the tail part though, although many people still must be eating the fish out of the river?

They sure look like the ones in the cooler at the store, except they aren't red, because they aren't cooked. The claws are probably good too.

Yes, Crawfish, crayfish, crawdads, mud puppies, fish bait are all the same thing. I'm eating worms (fish bait), and gosh they are good.

I'm sure it is good, I love lobster... I just can't get past the bug like appearance. If the meat was out of the shell, maybe.

I don't usually *crave* anything except a deep dish cheese Ferraro's pizza from time to time. Sprinkle it with red chili pepper flakes. When they cook it right? To me, that is true indulgence.

sounds amazing Huck, tho I have no idea what an ettoufe is. I'm allergic to fish but can have shrimp and lobster and love both, so I'm sure I'd like it, maybe you'll have to share the recipe since you don't want to share it? :)
A really good prime rib is hard to come by, hubby turned me into a prime snob, tho I like some that he doesn't... and lobster, yum!! Can't wait for our Red Lobster to open, kk, you'll have to go with me :)

I'm not fond of lobster, so I doubt I'd like crawfish.
