96 Crayons: A (Very) Short Story
When I was a kid, I always lusted after the box of 64 Crayola Crayons with the built in sharpener that all the cool kids had and I never did. Today while shopping online for our upcoming summer academy, I see they now have a box of 96 Crayola Crayons with the built in sharpener. I am still lusting after them. I will never be one of the cool kids.

I didn't have them either. Maybe that is what turns one Irregular?
I posted this on facebook earlier today and was kind of surprised at the response. As I thought about it, it kind of struck me as one of those things you might see entered in those 100 word fiction contests. It tells a little story that obviously hit a nerve with a lot of people.
I had a couple of those big fat pencils....
