Fellow irregulars, don't dispair, Friday will soon approach, just like every week before this.

I have posted on Milwaukee County Corruption a petition for changing investigations and reviews when law enforcement kills a civilian.

Being my father, brother and uncle were in law enforcement gives me additional perspectives on this subject. I decided to sign the petition, how about you?

Black Monday. Eek. The landlord is not renewing my lease and I have to move at the end of the month. I'll send out an email with the gory details. Legal stranger and BL Basketcase have already helped me clean out some junk and have volunteered to help with the move. I'll need all the help I can get. I'm too old and ill for this crap.

Also, my truck and renters' insurance went up 6 cents a month. What an outrage! (Actually, that may change when I move and a different apartment is being insured, but this is an old apt in a lousy part of the city, so I don't expect it to go up.)

Next month I find out how much my health insurance premiums increase for the next year. That grows by leaps and bounds and should be a considerable increase. When my mother passed, her biggest monthly expense was health insurance.

Orbs. Just remember to call them with your new address. I think it will stay the same on the renters as it is based on amount insured. If you get an extinguisher it will also lower the premium.
I wish I was there to help. And BTW I wish mine would only go up $.36. Sweet.

Thanks for the info, Mary. I have an extinguisher, but I don't know if my insurer knows it. Would it be in the policy? Well, I'll tell them when I get the new address to be sure. I'm really surprised by the "increase." It's usually $40 or so a year It's nice to get a break.

Orbs - it sound like the policy is renewing so you should get what is called a Declarations page. This shows coverage's. There should be a place on that which shows discounts.
If not when you get the notice it is renewing, that will show it. If it is not on there, let them know.
