Four for Fridays

Hello everyone and welcome back! Black Friday, my day off from work as part of my Thanksgiving vacation. Nice to sleep in for a change and get some rest. Anyways, your questions.

1) Have you ever gone shopping on Black Friday?

2) What the closest you have been to a lightning strike?

3) What meal is your mother's best?

4) What MOVIE comes to mind when you think of the 2000's?

Enjoy your weekend!

1. Only once, many years ago and it worked out well. I was in and out and on my way quickly.

2. Not sure, never that close. Some have made me jump pretty good, though.

3. My mom always cooked a home cooked meal. I didn't appreciate it enough. Some of her stuff was better than others. Not sure what would claim the best label, but she taught me many things.

4. I would be nowhere on these yearly movie questions without IMBD. Loved the movie, Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? and Cast Away was very good, too. http://www.imdb.com/search/title?sort=moviemeter,asc&title_type=feature&year=2000,2000

Last night after work at 11 pm to buy an electric blanket...mine went kaput. First time, and hopefully last, as I was so desperate.

2) What the closest you have been to a lightning strike?
3 times, all by water. One was right next to a pool and crashed into the pool and made my cell phone go dead. I thought I had
met my God and I was damned.

3) What meal is your mother's best?
I really put the milk thing out of my head. I liked her spaghetti and
her ribs...her breasts were small.

4) What MOVIE comes to mind when you think of the 2000's?

I laughed so hard at 21 Jump Street and I just bought the movie
at the Black Friday sale.

1. Yes, We went to Came Apart last night for Dog
Food. Hardly anybody there, and REALLY nasty clerks. I bit my tongue, and didn't say anything, and he apologized for his attitude. I was shocked. BTW, this was on the way back from dinner at my oldest daughters house.

2. 100 yards.

3. She would take baked potato's that were left over, and cut them up, and add a pkg. of hot dogs, sliced up, and pan fried the two together, and we always loved It.

4. That HORRIBLE movie with Richard Gere, and the dog. I can't remember the name, but a statue of the dog sits outside a train station waiting for his owner, as happened In the true story.

1) No.

2) A few hundred feet. I saw lightning strike a transformer.

3) That's hard to decide. My mom was a great cook. I'll say her roast beef.

4) Any Marvel superhero.

Thank you, drew.

1) Never... I'm NOT that crazy!

2) About a half a block away. Blinded the hell out of me!

3) It has been so long since I'd had regular meals at my mom's. Every time I'd visit, it's usually on the holidays and we would have ham or turkey. She is a good cook and knows how to make a mean beef roast.

4) The Lord of the Rings-my favorite movie EVER!

Yes I am really late in posting mine that is because I was only on the computer once yesterday that is while Drew was making breakfast. Then we went out birding so here are my answers!

1) Once with my older daughter we got ran over by people and never again.

2) A block away.

3) This is a hard one for me to answer because my mom is a really good cook. I would have to say she really makes a good bacon spaghetti and roast.

4) Erin Brockovich,Monster In-Law and The Passion of the Christ.
