USPS mail, FedEx delivery delays may hit Wisconsin due to weather
From JSOnline:

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Customers in Wisconsin may experience mail and package delivery delays due to the winter weather, several delivery companies said over the past few days.
The United States Postal Service issued a statement on Monday, Jan. 26 that said 38 states, including Wisconsin, may experience delays because of the winter weather's impact on the processing, transportation and delivery of mail and packages.
According to a United States Postal Service spokesperson, the delays were in Madison.
FedEx also announced a national service disruption Jan. 27. The company has activated contingency plans to mitigate the effect of winter weather on delivery delays. However, customers may still experience delays throughout the week.

Government cash mailings to random Americans draw Senate DOGE leader’s ire: ‘Complete waste’
I recently received a $1 bill in the mail from the Federal Highway Administration. They wanted me to participate in a survey of my traffic movements on a given day. On my assigned day, I went to the ATM and to the grocery store and then back home. I submitted the times of the travel and I received a $10 Amazon gift certificate as a reward. (You can opt for a $10 check, but that takes 3-4 weeks.)
