The Festivus Pole is up and Ready....

Let the "Airing of Grievances" begin!

Now be nice...

Here is mine, “That f&%k’in White Mans Club, who is blaming chemicals on the pumping system so now the children of Racine can not run and play in the water fountain by the lake”! I have to stop here otherwise; I will use some real potty words.

Is it a blaspheme to take a twirl about the Festivus Pole?
I gots me some go go boots.... and after a cocktail (or two), I wanna try that thing where you hang upside down, mebbe not feel it so much when I go crashing on my head;-)
Airing of grievances? When the wiccan-slash-pagan in your family tree send you an extensive Christmas "Wish List" (complete with websites). Whassup with that?? I already got the Yule Log I dragged out of the forest all wrapped up and ready to go...

p.s. I would have to sedate myself for weeks and weeks if I lived in the same neighborhood as those people in the video. Either that, or drop acid and sit outside drooling on myself until they called the cops. Egads!
What in God's name is the motivation (no pun intended, lol)?

I don't own go-go boots. A few drinks and the right crowd? Yep... The upside down thing sounds possible in my head, until I would try it. Can't see the video at work. :(

As for the sharing of the airing. For me, it has to be the commercialism of the holidays. I am finding it impossible to get the warm fuzzies I once had.

I also agree with SER about the reasons behind the snafu with the fountain. How can we allow a few who don't like this "public bath" to ruin such a good thing for the city? We no longer have the free zoo to tout. Let's just fix this mess and allow the kids to continue to enjoy their extremely little piece of the pie.

Here's my grevience: Why are people already burning their Christmas lights? What happened to Thanksgiving? It's turning into Thanksmas or Christgiving.

My mom received a CD of Christmas music from the Paralyzed Veterans of America on August 31 this year.

I already aired my main grievance today in the open blog: nitwits at the National Weather Service.

When we put a fence around the Laurel Clark fountain to keep kids away, it should be electrified. That will teach the little buggers to think that they're tony enough for downtown.

People who decorate their homes like the one in that video have issues - and more money than they know what to do with.

Well, there are some people who donate their electric bill to good causes. Candy Cane Lane accepts donations from people who go through the subdivisions and then donate to things like the MACC Fund. I've heard that some of these homes time the lights to the music. You tune your car radio to a numerical number to hear the music. Crazy.

Just a question: Can you only "air" your grievance or can you re-enforce it with the bird?
