Hello everyone! Did everyone have a good week? To honor Mother's Day this Sunday, I came with these questions.

I get breakfast in bed and maybe a present, but that's usually about it.. Back home we would go put flowers on my grandmothers graves

3) Describe what is your mother like.
Strong, always taught me I can do anything I put my heart to. She has been through a lot raising us kids. Very loving to her grandchild.. will take the positives in respect for Mothers Day.

4) What you think it takes to be a good mother?
If only I knew, but if I had to guess it would be to love your children, don't be afraid of discipline for that is also loving. encouragement.. but I've only been at this for a couple of years

2. I usually get a card, phone call or gift from the kids. They will come home, if possible, and spend some time with me.

3. This will be my first real year without her. She was well liked by people. She was a volunteer: she knit over 500 hats for newborn babies and worked tirelessly for the veterans. She knew every dirty joke that was ever told.

4. Love your children. Always put their needs before yours. Listen to them. Support them in any venture they take on in life. Teach them right from wrong, instill values. And I agree with "why not" that sometimes that involves being very, very strict and not being their best friend.

1. Not really. My Mother died in "87" but my girls (as least) call my wife on Mothers Day.

2. TRY to be NICE for once.

3. She was always good to us, but VERY determined to teach us the right way to live. She was TERRIBLY frugal, something I never learned.

4. Mothers must be teachers to their children, and that doesn't happen enough today, because children feel entitled. Things have changed in a HUGE way since the 50s and 60s. I honestly don't think a lot of children care about rules today?

1. Yes.
2. We will be going out to my mother-in-laws and spend the day with her.
3. Mom was great. She's been gone 10 years this year and I miss her more than I can say.
4. Be there for your children in whatever situation comes up. Try to teach them right from wrong. Always let them know that no matter what, love is unconditional.

1) I guess. I told mom I can't afford much for Mother's Day this year (again). She said, "You're here every day. Every day is Mother's Day."

2) Mom wants pizza for Mother's Day this year, so pizza it is.

3) My mom is a survivor. She's done things I could never do (immigrate to another country, raise kids, etc.). She'll be 89 in a few eeks and still going strong. If you get in her way, she will run you over.

4) I don't know.

1. Yes..sometimes I buy myself flowers. (My boys are financially strapped)
2. Yes I make myself feel good all day.
3. My mom was the most beautiful mother in the world and I still hear her teaching me things. I miss her.
4. Love..that's the most a mom can give.

It doesn't matter if there is money or not. You are a good son who shows his mother love all year. You can't put a price on that.

2)I call mom to wish her Happy Mother's Day.

3) My mother is a house wife who cared for the family. Not only that, she was involved with the church, school activities, and had a dog grooming business. She is hard working, loyal to the family, compassionate, caring, outgoing,friendly, easy to get along with, I could go on.

4) Being there for the family...

No, Call them and say Happy Mother’s Day, that’s it. It is another bullshit Hallmark day just like Father’s Day, Valentines Day and the like.

2) How do you celebrate Mother's Day?
I don’t............

3) Describe what is your mother like.
Actually she is gone. She was a very good person, as many other moms, struggled with health problems later in life.

4) What you think it takes to be a good mother?
I think KK explained it the best, I agree with her.

1. Nothing formal but always get Mo m something.

2. Mom gets a hanging flowering plant she hangs outside and enjoys the flowers all summer long. This year I'm trying to make an award plaque that incorporates a plant shelf/holder. My new CNC router is letting me be creative.

3. Stubborn. Maybe Determined. She gets more done at 83 than many 30-year-olds. While slowing down some, she still manages to find a way to mow her grass, and shovel some snow.

4. Love, firm kindness, and acceptance of budding personalities.
