I'm under an electric throw, right now. Kinda nice. This house breathes better than I do. The wind Is howling out of the North.

Warm wishes, indeed. Be careful this weekend as the mercury drops well below zero. Stay snug as a bedbug in a rug. Have a great weekend!

AT&T charged me $48 to switch my landline service from there to here. That's outrageous.

Time Warner charged me, too, to switch my internet service, but they're better at hiding it. After next month's bill, I should know how much they hit me for. I'm thinking around $30. In any case, they had to send out a technician.

My electric bill was in the credit range when I moved, but I got a bill for electric here shortly after I moved. As it turns out, they don't automatically transfer the balance from old accounts to "new" accounts (it's a different account number). They said some people want a credit sent to them in the form of a check. I told them to apply my old balance to my new balance and I have no electric bill this month.

That was the last straw with AT&T. I'm looking elsewhere for service.

I really miss hating the summer heat. The hospital we
ill be open on Monday and I will be there....sucks to be me.

I hope all these people take care of their outdoor pets. That makes me sick to think about it. I hate it that people suffer, too. Most have more resources with a little effort.

I agree with BLB - bring your pets inside!

I will also say this - I hope we don't see some dumb a@@ at the game taking their clothes off. Skin can freeze in a very short period of time.

I'd like to say I feel sorry for some of the San Francisco fans coming in to watch the game but I can't. :}

How cold is it?

They couldn't sell enough Packer tickets to make broadcast. Several businesses and the Packers themselves bought out the last few thousand so we can be warm and watch it.

They closed schools 3 days in advance of the next anticipated cold front.

Now that is cold.

today is the day to run errands before hunkering down. From Accuweather, here are the temps expected the next few days -
today- 28 (heat wave!)
Sun - 9
Mon - negative 8
Tues - 3
Wed - 14

When the talk about Canadian cold blasts, gotta wonder how cold they are accustomed to and how and why they live up there, brrr!

We just came in from going to see the Hobbit. The movie was really good if anyone likes Lord of the Rings you have to go see the first two Hobbits.

Also if you do not have to go anywhere just stay inside the roads are starting to get bad with blowing snow and it is really cold out there with the wind and falling temps. I have to go and pick my daughter up from work at 7pm and I am not looking forward to that at all. Drew has to be to work at 4am and I am trying to talk him into staying home.

THB, I met your daughter today. I was buying some stuff (the milk coolers were empty) and she checked me out. I introduced myself. She immediately knew who I was.

Daddy Orbs so you finally met your granddaughter how nice. She told me today that they sold 400 gallons of milk yesterday and there is no more in the store at all. When she went on her break she called me to tell me that she met you.

Wow, I have a granddaughter. I don't even remember having kids.
