My cat, Charlie, must have one of the quietest purrs in the world. When I first got him, I didn't think that he purred at all. I discovered, though, that if you put your ear to his body, you can hear his quiet motor. That is, if you can get your ear to his body without getting your eyes scratched out.
Nicole, the woman in the video, calls her fourteen year old cat, Bella, an "old lady." Charlie is nineteen years, six months old. I guess he's "ancient."
