Couple blocked from accessing Mount Pleasant business near Foxconn was paid $1.6M

MOUNT PLEASANT — The Village of Mount Pleasant paid Jack and Colleen Erickson a little less than $1.6 million in February 2020 for a portion of the 12 acres the Ericksons own at 4707 SE Frontage Road, where they operate a salvage and scrap yard, Erickson Trucks-n-Parts.
The Ericksons never agreed to the exchange.
The money was paid after Mount Pleasant declared part of the Ericksons’ property blighted.
The property was pretty much left alone for months after that payment. But then the scrap yard was ticketed for being a public nuisance under the village’s “blighted buildings and premises” ordinance in March.
The village’s use of its blight ordinance to acquire land to facilitate the Foxconn project has been relatively unprecedented and controversial.
While Erickson Trucks-n-Parts is a paved scrap yard, the village had, soon after the Foxconn project was announced, deemed homes in good condition with green grass and basketball hoops above garage doors blighted.
Almost all property owners in the area besides the Ericksons and Kim Mahoney and her family sold their homes to the village years ago, with the expectation that they were making way for Foxconn. That was before the Taiwanese tech giant’s plans were drastically reduced.
MILWAUKEE — A vehicle being pursued by Milwaukee police slammed into a parked car, crashed into a house and then caught fire Thursday evening.
Police said in a statement that two people were taken into custody and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Video shared with TMJ4 News by a resident shows a red truck on fire after it hit the base of the house. It appears officers are pulling a person from the vehicle while others fight to put the flames out.
The video also shows a white vehicle crushed against a light pole on the sidewalk.
MPD said the crash happened in the 2300 block of North 40th around 5:51 p.m. Police said people were inside the house at the time of the crash, but were not injured.
Police add that the circumstances as to why the vehicle was fleeing police and crashed is not known at this time.

Racine's Monument Square will transform into 'Deer District Racine' for remaining NBA Finals games
RACINE — For the remainder of the NBA Finals, Monument Square in Racine will become “Deer District Racine.”
The City of Racine and the Bucks made the announcement Thursday, just hours before Game 2 between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Phoenix Suns taking place in Arizona.
The watch party started on a whim. Last week, “Pub on Wisconsin” was holding a bags tournament in the park and they brought TVs so that they didn’t miss the Bucks action.
The idea gained traction and now for the rest of the finals, watch parties will be held on the square.

Racine County resident Magda Gabbey said she was happy to have the event so close.
“I think this is really awesome. It’s great for the kids and it’s something to do in our city, so it’s good," said Gabbey.
Racine resident Debra Turner sees the watch party as a turning point against the pandemic.
“It’s showing that the pandemic is not over, but it’s almost over, and we can socialize,” Turner said.
The city plans to add food trucks to the upcoming events. The parties will be held every game day weather permitting.

Foxconn, Fisker discussing with WEDC plans to possibly build electric cars in Wisconsin
Foxconn Technology Group says it and the California startup, Fisker, have engaged with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation to discuss plans to build electric cars.
"As part of the site selection process, Foxconn and Fisker have engaged with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation to discuss plans for electric vehicle manufacturing. Foxconn and Fisker look forward to discussions with the WEDC," Foxconn said in a statement to TMJ4 News Thursday.
Foxconn did not say if a final location has been chosen to build the vehicle.
Back in February, Fisker chairman and chief executive Henrik Fisker said that Foxconn’s facility in Mount Pleasant would be an “obvious” choice for producing the vehicles.
Fisker said in a tweet Wednesday that his company's "PEAR vehicle" will be “out of this world." He continued that their top version will be 4 wheel drive and cost around $30,000.
Production would begin by the fourth quarter of 2023 with Fisker’s second vehicle called “Project PEAR,” standing for “Personal Electric Automotive Revolution,” a joint agreement said, released earlier this year.
Foxconn would manufacture 250,000 vehicles per year, the agreement stated.
Fisker has developed one car, called the Ocean electric SUV. Production for that vehicle is set to begin in late 2022.

Wisconsin National Guard members headed to southern border under directive from the Biden administration
MADISON - About 125 soldiers from the Wisconsin Army National Guard will head to the southern border in the fall as part of a federal mission ordered by President Joe Biden.
Soldiers from the 229th Engineer Company out of Prairie du Chien and Richland Center will assist U.S. Customs and Border Protection with non-law enforcement activities for about a year as part of a "short-notice federal mobilization," according to a news release from the Guard.
The National Guard said Wisconsin is one of 23 states that are continuing the federal mission along the southwest border into next year.
"Providing support to the Department of Defense as a reserve of the United States Army and Air Force is one of our core missions," Maj. Gen Paul Knapp said in the release. "The outstanding professionalism and preparedness of our troops enables the Wisconsin National Guard to rapidly respond for any mission, and I’m tremendously proud of their dedication."
99 shot, 17 fatally, across Chicago since Friday night in city's most violent weekend of 2021
CHICAGO - In the deadliest and most violent weekend this year in Chicago, 99 people have been shot over the long Fourth of July weekend, 17 of them killed.
Among the wounded were at least 11 children and two Chicago police supervisors. Five of the kids were shot within nine hours Sunday evening through early Monday.
Both the number of fatal shootings and the number of shootings overall are highs for 2021, according to a Chicago Sun-Times database of shootings. By 5 p.m. Monday, Chicago had recorded 2,000 shootings this year, the Sun-Times’ database shows.
In one of the holiday weekend incidents, a 15-year-old boy was critically hurt in a drive-by shooting Monday evening at 5:50 p.m. when a dark-colored vehicle drove by and someone from inside pulled out a gun and fired shots in the 6600 block of South Langley Avenue in Woodlawn, police said.
About a half-hour earlier, a 48-year-old was arguing with a person in a home about 5:20 p.m. in the 8600 block of South Aberdeen Street when he was shot and killed, police said.

Facebook To Warn Users They're Using Facebook
MENLO PARK, CA—There are many dangers online, and Facebook is now making an attempt to steer people away from one of them. The social network is now trying out a new warning that will pop up and tell users when Facebook detects that they’re using Facebook.
“WARNING: You appear to be using Facebook,” the warning reads, “which spreads nothing but misinformation and misery in its ham-handed efforts to control its users. Maybe try reading an actual book instead... not a face one.”
“We took a survey of our users’ biggest problems,” explained the eccentric, hoodie-wearing CEO of Facebook, Bob Facebook, “and there was one consistent problem with their mental health: us. So now we’re going to warn people when they’re doing something that seems bad for them—namely, using Facebook.”
When other social media companies were asked if they would follow course, Twitter’s PR office responded that they would not warn Twitter users when they are using Twitter, as they “like to respect users’ choices” and also they “hate users and want them to suffer in a prison of their own making.”

Based On LEGO Evidence, FBI Believes Capitol Rioter Was Also Planning Attack On Hogwarts Castle
PITTSBURGH, PA—The FBI released disturbing new details today regarding alleged January 6th rioter Robert Morss, who had a fully-constructed LEGO Capitol building in his home. Agents say Morss was also building several LEGO Harry Potter sets, leading authorities to believe he was planning a similar attack on Hogwarts Castle.
“The suspect had several completed LEGO Harry Potter building sets and was about 80% of the way through building the advanced-level LEGO Harry Potter Castle,” said FBI bureau chief Warren Alvarez. “We feel we caught him just in the nick of time before things turned violent once more.”
Alvarez said a review of Morss’ online social media accounts show him to be a staunch supporter of Lord Voldemort, believing that Albus Dumbledore was fraudulently elected as the leader of Hogwarts. Documents found on his computer show that Morss was planning a violent protest at the school on July 31, Harry Potter’s birthday.
“This is a huge win for law enforcement,” said Alvarez. “The FBI is proud of our work taking dangerous, LEGO-building criminals off the streets. Also, now I don’t have to buy my kid a birthday present, which is awesome.”
In related news, press secretary Jen Psaki said President Biden is renewing his calls for common-sense LEGO control, calling for universal background checks for all LEGO purchases as well as closing the toy show loophole. Psaki said. “We must work vigilantly to keep these dangerous LEGO weapons of war off our streets,” Psaki said.

An accused U.S. Capitol protester spoke with an undercover Washington police officer on Jan. 6 who later connected the man to an undercover FBI worker, according to a new court filing.
Fi Duong is facing charges for allegedly entering the Capitol during a joint session of Congress in January, for disrupting the session, and for impeding the session. He faces decades in prison.
In an affidavit accompanying the criminal complaint, FBI special agent Jason Jankovitz said that Duong and an associate introduced themselves to an undercover Metropolitan Police Department officer on the morning of Jan. 6. Duong allegedly described himself as an “operator” and asked if the officer was a “patriot,” to which the employee responded in the affirmative.
Officers later ascertained Duong was inside the Capitol several hours later.
A week later, the undercover Washington officer linked Duong with an FBI undercover employee. The FBI worker learned that Duong belonged to an unnamed group comprised of “loosely affiliated” and “like-minded individuals,” that Duong is said to have compared to a known militia group located in northern Virginia.
Duong said, according to the court filing, that the mission was to “build resistances and what not, in terms of planning for what will inevitably come as a worst, right? Worst case scenario for any people that, freedom loving, liberty minded, pro 2A type of folks.”
Duong related that his family spent two generations “running from communists,” first in China and then in Vietnam, and his belief that at some point, “you just gotta make a stand.”
During the same meeting, Duong allegedly said he was in Washington on Jan. 6 and that he was dressed that day in all-black to try to look like a member of Antifa, a far-left, anarcho-communist network that has carried out violence in the United States.
Duong added the FBI undercover agent to an encrypted messaging platform chat room and on Jan. 18, the agent asked if he was “masked up in the Capitol.” Duong answered yes, and said he was aware that people were being arrested for being inside the Capitol. He later described himself as “documenting” what took place in the building.
The agent in February met with Duong and other members of the group for a Bible study and on other occasions participated in other meetings, including one on June 9. The group soon started to surveil the Capitol, according to the undercover worker. At one point, the FBI agent and Duong met with another undercover FBI agent at the site of a former jail, where Duong allegedly wanted to test Molotov cocktails he’d constructed.
Duong was arrested on July 2, according to court records. He was ordered released later that day.
A public defender representing Duong declined to comment.
More than 535 defendants have been charged in the six months following the Capitol breach, officials said this week.

FBI Seizes Lego Set
In another case linked to the breach, the FBI said it seized a Lego set from an accused rioter.
While arresting Robert Morss on June 11, law enforcement recovered a “Don’t Tread on Me” flag, a black tourniquet, and a notebook with writings that included “Step by Step to Create Hometown Militia,” according to a memorandum that asks a judge to keep Morss in jail until a trial.
“Law enforcement also recover[e]d a fully constructed U.S. Capitol Lego set,” the filing states.

Morss is in custody on charges including civil disorder and violent entry of a building on Capitol grounds.
Authorities allege Morss stormed the Capitol while wearing tan camouflage clothing with a tactical-style vest. They say he was part of a group of rioters who pushed past police guarding the Capitol, that he later violently attacked officers inside a tunnel leading to the building, and ultimately gained entrance to the building through a broken window.
“In this case, the Defendant was part of a violent mob that engaged in one of the most intense and prolonged clashes between the rioters attempting to overrun Capitol on January 6 and the law enforcement officers charged with protecting it,” prosecutors said.
If Morss is released, they added, he poses a danger to the community and a flight risk.
A public defender representing Morss did not return a request for comment. The attorney asked, and was granted, more time to compile a defense for the man, according to the court docket. A bail hearing is set for July 13.

Bill Gate’s mother, Mary Maxwell Gates, was Chairwoman of United Way. Her father, was a wealthy banker, and her grandfather, was the President of the National City Bank, in Seattle; and was also the Director of the Seattle Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank. With a family bloodline like this, you can see, Bill Gates was not simply smart, or lucky; but rather, “destined for success”, as They say.
For example, most know the (highly improbable) origin story of how Bill Gates and Paul Allen rose to economic power.
Tens of Microsoft documentaries have have come out, selling the same old idea to the public. That in 1975, Bill Gates and Paul Allen (barely out of their teens at the time — although Paul looks like he’s really around 40 for some strange reason), were just a couple of wily drop-out programmers, who managed to briskly walk into IBM (one of the largest corporations in the world at the time), immediately set up a meeting with IBM‘s CEO, John Opel, sell them a product (MS-DOS) that they did not even own at the time (after the deal, they allegedly bought a 86-DOS from Seattle Computer Parts for $50,000 to sell as their own)! Does that sound probable?
Then, they were able to go back an pull the proverbial wool over Opel’s eyes, in one of the most historical business deals ever made in the tech industry (as if Opel, the CEO of IBM, for that one meeting alone, decided to completely abandon all known standard business practices). That deal changed everything for both parties involved. IBM lost out, BIG TIME (ensuring Microsoft an 80%-90% share of the operating system market; and all the money that guaranteed for Microsoft, and the Gates family in the long run). For Microsoft, and the Gates family, it was only the beginning.

The case against Bill Gates

Some people question my use of the phrase "definitive proof" in my previous post regarding Bill Gates and reengineering the coronavirus.
They have a point - "proof" is often misused in the context of empirical induction, where it does not mean what it means in, say, mathematics. Nevertheless, it is often used in such contexts. Let me try to explain why many people connect Bill Gates to the Covid 19 pandemic and its sequelae. It involves legal concepts like premeditation and "means, motive, and opportunity".
1. Premeditation: Mr. Gates and his foundation sponsored Event 201 (October 2019), which simulated an outbreak of a "hypothetical" zoonotic coronavirus transmitted from bats to people by way of pigs.
2. Means: Bill Gates was involved in reengineering the coronavirus for various purposes. In the Covid 19 plandemic, an engineered coronavirus was the means of infection. Clearly, if anyone has at his disposal people with the facilities and know-how to, e.g., graft HIV spike proteins onto a coronavirus, it is Mr. Gates.
3. Motive: Mr. Gates has a longstanding concern with overpopulation. He is also heavily involved in experimental vaccine distribution, being connected with a polio catastrophe in India and the "vaccine"-related sterilization of women in Africa.
4. Opportunity: Through his "philanthropy", Mr. Gates plays a dominant role in the world health system, from research to vaccine development and delivery and everything in between. If the entire pandemic were a 9/11 style false-flag power-grab, no one would be better situated to pull it off.
5. Foreknowledge: Mr. Gates was even the leading proponent for legal immunity for vaccine manufacturers, which suggests foreknowledge that the "vaccines" would turn out to be more deadly and debilitating than "Covid 19" itself.
We could go on. If you like, you can chalk all this up to accident, coincidence, synchronicity, and righteous concern on the part of an innocent software mogul. But as an exercise in sheer inductive probability, Mr. Gates "looks good enough for it" to make him the lead suspect, and perhaps even to convince a jury.
Gates was just the errand boy, in my opinion. And it appears that he didn't do a sufficiently good job, since he's losing some of his privileges and a few of his past indiscretions are suddenly being revealed to the public.

That's the question that naturally occurs to everyone in light of the assassination of the President of Haiti:
The President of Haiti Jovenel Moise has been assassinated by gunmen 'claiming to be DEA agents' in a night-time raid on his home that also left his wife seriously injured.
A group of 'foreigners', some of whom spoke English and Spanish, broke into Mr Moise's home in the hills above Port-au-Prince at around 1am on Wednesday, according to a statement by country's prime minister.
The 53-year-old was shot dead and the First Lady Martine, 47, was wounded in what PM Claude Joseph called a 'hateful, inhumane and barbaric act.' Haiti's embassy in the Dominican Republic said the First Lady has since been flown to another country for treatment.
In footage purportedly recorded by a witness, someone with an American accent shouts into a megaphone: 'DEA operation. Everybody stand down. DEA operation. Everybody back up, stand down.'
Gunfire then erupts in the video uploaded to Instagram by someone who says they were in the Pelerin 5 neighbourhood, where the president's house is located.
The assailants were pretending to be from the US Drugs Enforcement Agency (DEA) and were 'mercenaries,' a government source told The Miami Herald.
To be fair, it sounds a lot more like something the CIA would do rather than the DEA.

'I don't know': Rodgers dodges questions at 'The Match' about whether he'll return as Packers quarterback

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers played in TNT's "The Match" while avoiding questions on his situation — but the commentators knew they couldn't end the program without asking the reigning MVP if he will be playing next season.
Brian Anderson, Brewers play-by-play announcer and regular NBA commentator for TNT, finally asked Rodgers: "Packers-Bears, any idea whose going to be there? Anybody going to be quarterbacking in the number 12 jersey?"
(The Packers take on the Bears Oct. 17, in week six of the season.)
"Yeah, I don't know, BA, we'll see," said Rodgers.
"How about September 12th then, will you go for that one?" Anderson asked.
"What's that one?" Rodgers replied.
"That would be the opener against the Saints," Anderson said.
"Yeah, I don't know, BA, we'll see," Rodgers declared again.
Anderson seemingly gave up with his line of questioning after that, but Rodgers quipped to Anderson, "I know you're a Milwaukee guy."
Others on the commentating team tried their best to force an answer out of Rodgers. Future Hall of Famer Larry Fitzgerald was on hand and proclaimed "Everybody is on their toes, they want to know." Rodgers quickly changed the subject to Tom Brady, his opponent in The Match, saying, "I'm trying to talk to him about if he's going to keep playing or not."
Charles Barkley couldn't resist bringing some funny to the moment, stating, "Hey Aaron, we go way back, you can just tell me, I'll keep it a secret."

Rodgers left Barkley on a cliffhanger, saying "Charles, I'll tell you this week in Tahoe."

The question remains if Rodgers will appear for Packers training camp later this month. Tuesday's "The Match" did not shed any light on the situation.
